Cardiorenal Translational Lab at the ESC Congress 2017

Cardiorenal Translational Laboratory Group members together with our collaborators from IdiPAZ María Fernández and Almudena Val-Blasco attended the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) congress 2017 held in Barcelona on 26-30th August 2017.

Our PhD student Alberto Navarro-García did an excellent job presenting a poster on calcium handling titled “Fibroblast growth factor (FGF)-23 induces ventricular arrhythmogenesis through calcium handling dysregulation”.

This was the perfect opportunity for our PhD students to see one of the biggest congresses in our field with their own eyes. There were so many interesting sessions that we came back with many ideas to continue our work and stablish new collaborations!
